MAE LEONARD EROL 🕊️

Mae passed away peacefully on 23rd January 2026. An adored mother to Emma, Tasmin & Troy, Nanna to Ella & Macie, daughter of Helen and sister of Michael.

Mae was a woman that was courageous, smart, talented, funny and a cornerstone for our family. She was able to light up a room that casted the darkest shadows.

She was a woman that managed feats that crossed the highest mountains and the lowest valleys and no matter how difficult it was, she was there. She had made sure no-one was left out, no-one cried alone. She helped everyone no matter the cost and she let everyone in with open arms.

She will live on inside every one of us and the energy she left in this world will continue to guide us.

A short family service to be held at her home on Monday 2nd February at 9.30am. A funeral service for friends and family will be held at Newtownabbey Crematorium (582 Doagh Road, BT36 5BU) at 11am on the same day. We request family flowers only please.

Food will be served afterwards from 1-6pm at Forthriver Bowling Club (104a Woodvale Rd, Belfast BT13 3BU)
