For around four years or so, I worked alongside him and got to know him through the job. He was always approachable and easy to talk to — we used to have some great in-depth conversations about all sorts of things, from aliens to flat earth theories and plenty of other wild topics. Those chats are something I’ll always remember, and he will be genuinely missed.

It’s hard to believe he’s gone. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who knew him during this incredibly difficult time.

Taken too soon. Matt's missed by both me and the girls. Lissy told me last night she thought he was the coolest guy in the office the first time she met him 'like one of those cool guys in old movies that rolls in on a skateboard with sunglasses on'. I think he would have loved to have heard that. Miss you mate.

The wonderful people at Ellenor were spectacular, the kindest and most appreciated part of his whole treatment.
