Eileen Kathleen Rainey (8 Jan 1926 - 25 Dec 2025)

In loving memory of Eileen Kathleen Rainey who sadly passed away on 25th December 2025, aged 99 years.

My dear mum had an amazing life, she was happily married in 1948 to my dear dad Bert until he sadly passed away in 2008. During this time as a family we spent 6 happy years in Singapore where my dad worked in the dockyard , first going in 1960
On returning they settled into their bungalow in Marion Close Walderslade. They had lots of holidays abroad and in latter years went on many Mediterranean Cruises that they loved. She also spent a lot of time in her garden which gave her great pleasure.
When her grandchildren Matthew & Laura arrived she was over the moon and spent many happy times with them, very special memories.
In the last 9 years she was in Heatherdale Nursing Home and was very happy there and very well looked after. She enjoyed all the activities especially the singers. Whilst there she was lucky to meet her 2 great grandchildren Jessie & Sam.
She was only 2 weeks away from her 100th Birthday.
She was my absolute world and my heart is broken, she will be sadly missed by us all.
