In loving memory of Kenneth Alfred Lazell who sadly passed away on 2nd January 2026. A big bear-like character, and an intelligent bright man, who had a lifetime of mischief, different occupations, so many hobbies, absorbing projects, interests, good friends, good food, and a big busy family. He lived life to the full. We miss him so very much.

Dear uncle ken, have finally got to the message board, through my most of upheaval s at the moment. So sorry I didn't make it. I have my love of jaguars , because of you. Earliest memories for me are, visiting the bungalow on a lazy Sunday afternoon in the 60, and you there , sleeves rolled up working on those magical old jags, I used to love being on tip toes, inhaling into the window, that heavenly smell of good leather seats...I appreciated those cars as young as I was. Santi will miss his petrol head chats with you. Gone but never forgotten.🙏🌹⭐

Hope they do a quality banger wherever you are (and not those cheap ones that are all arseh*les and earholes)

To my dear grandad - we miss you so very much. You’ve left an enormous hole behind in the family with your larger than life character, stories, and love. I have such fond memories of summers spent with you, gran and my brother in Benfleet, where all sorts of mischief and creative activities were encouraged, including a certain tin can “aiming” practice that was done from the top window, and roaring down the roads on the tricycles. Memories I will have forever. Whilst I won’t be there in person on the day, I will be watching from 10,000 miles away in Sydney, and will have an eclair on your behalf - it only seems right! Go and be at peace with gran. All my love, Greg x

  • Greg this is so lovely. Thank you. You will be with us tomorrow, although not in person, but with your heart and that matters most. I’m busy today making and preparing things to make the day lovely and special for him and all those who loved and cared about him, because he does deserve a very good day Xxx

What better way to remember you and Mum, than walking in woodlands, far from the madding crowd?

Condolences to all Ken’s family. He was a lovely family man who I knew from childhood days with Paula, through to adulthood when I used to see him in the Coop, normally for his Radio Times. Xx

Mum and Dad loved trees. When I hear the wind in the trees and hear the birds, I think of you both.
