How lucky are we to have had the most amazing, wonderful, funny and caring person in our lives for so long. It makes saying goodbye so very hard.
A true inspiration to us all.
We will cherish all the amazing times, conversations, funny moments, family stories that we got to share with our dear Aunty Val. She made times together so special. Her humour was so like my Dads, that to me and my boys it was almost like still having him here. She was an amazing Sister/Sister in law to my Dad and Mum and I know my Mum misses her terribly. I hope she gives Dad a big hug up there and the rest of the family, we will picture them getting up to all sorts up there to help us through the tough days.

To me she was like an Aunty/Mum/Nan/friend all rolled into one, and I can never thank her enough for being there for me in that way and teaching me the things she has. I miss our times together so much. All our funny conversations, laughing till we cried, the way she showed me how to fold jumpers, and sheets, hospital corners, stacking glasses with napkins in between to stop them scratching. Not to mention keeping the cutlery in size order. She was so particular but that made her even more special.
I can’t thank her enough for the love and kindness she has shown us all and all the wonderful memories and times together.
It’s part of what’s made us who we are.

We will be blowing kisses up there to her always,
our dear Aunty Val,
go fly high. ❤️

Love Karen, Kathy, Jack, Charlie, Tanya, Alfie, Rose and Finley

Valerie was a very dear Cousin and I have known her all her life. From childhood picnics family fun in Woodford to attending each other's weddings in the 1960s we remained close and connected and watched each other's families grow.

There was always sunshine when Valerie was around. Despite many obstacles and serious illnesses Valerie could magic a smile to brighten your day. Valerie will be greatly missed by our entire family and Dawn, Heather and Harriet join us in sending their fondest love.
