In loving memory of Eric Reeves who sadly passed away on 9th December 2025. Our dad at age 19 was in the Queens Royal Surrey Regiment and captured by the Germans at Dunkirk in May 1940. He was a prisoner of war for 5 long years. When he returned to Blighty in the back of a Lancaster Bomber he started ballroom dancing lessons and met mum at a dance at the Dorking Halls. They were married in 1953 and had a long, happy life together. Dad enjoyed the army and loved a military parade. We are so grateful to the Royal British Legion and the Queen's Regiment Association for making the funeral so special. All the family love and miss him, but what a wonderful, long, healthy life he had. A lucky man.

Bless you Uncle Eric, you were such a brave young man during your time in the 2nd World War, I'm so incredibly proud of you for how much you helped people during such horrendous times. I will always remember you as a fun loving, cheeky chappy. You and your brother Ken ( my Dad )were so alike, I only wish we could have spent more time together over the years.God bless and thank you again for all your courage, kindness and sense of humour. Love always Your Niece Fran xxxxx
