Molly Kesic

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mum, Molly Kesic, who passed away peacefully on 15th December 2025, aged 90.

Molly was born on 12th March 1935 in Northern Ireland, and throughout her life she was known for her strength, kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She lived a long and full life, devoted to those she loved, and left behind countless cherished memories that will be held close forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Molly’s funeral service will be held at St Stephen’s Church,
St Stephen’s Road, Steeton, Keighley, BD20 6SB,
at 11:00am on Friday 30th January.

Following the service, we will be celebrating Molly’s life at The Goats Head,
2 Skipton Road, Steeton, BD20 6NR.

Food will be provided, and we would kindly appreciate confirmation of attendance to help us cater for the appropriate numbers.

Flowers will be from immediate family members only. In keeping with Molly’s generous nature, she would have preferred donations to be made, if desired, to a charity close to her heart — either Manorlands Hospice or the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Donation links are available on this website, or there will be a collection box at the church on the day for these charities also.

Molly would have wanted everyone to feel comfortable in themselves, so there is no formal dress code — please wear whatever colour makes you happy.

Forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.

I have so many fond memories of Molly, from centre parcs to the caravan, to her meeting Leo and we will always treasure the items that Molly made for him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Molly was an incredible mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family really did mean everything to her.

Molly leaves an incredible legacy in her family and that will continue to brighten up the world and bring happiness on the values she raised everyone with.
