Sally Madeline Bragg (17 Nov 1954 - 20 Dec 2025)

As well as being a valued and much loved member of the choir at St Giles in the Fields while in London and afterwards while in Rochester, Sally was a good friend who was always ready to listen and talk through things in a friendly way, sharing her experiences as a help to all around her. She is sadly missed. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

I met Sally when singing in the church choir; she had been a member for several years by then. I remember one occasion having to restrain myself from giggling like a naughty schoolgirl when Sally & another choir member were volleying witty repartee both metaphorically & literally over my head, being sandwiched in between them. She loved life, her garden & friends. Thank you for so much.

My grief is profound. Sally was my second mother, and I told her so, often. I loved her very much, and she told me she loved me too. My only consolation is that she is now free, far away from any pain, worry, and commitments, and that she is with her beloved mother, Coco, and all the cats she shared her big heart with. Thank you to Deirdre, Jill, Kerry, Merill, and all the many friends and neighbours who took care of her. She told me all about it and was always so grateful! Thank you to Deirdre for the pictures.

I loved Sally. She was a confident and forceful personality in the running of Open House. Rochester as long as her health permitted. We will always be grateful for her contribution. Thank you, Sally.
