In loving memory of Philip Barrett who sadly passed away on 17th December 2025

Hannah's story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During the final months of his life, Phil spent some time in the hospice, where the team were able to significantly reduce his pain and provide him with a calm, peaceful environment that he truly appreciated. The hospice has only six beds, and we were incredibly fortunate that Dad was able to be admitted within 24 hours of being placed on the list.

In the time leading up to his stay, and right through to his passing at home, the Practitioners were exceptional. They ensured Dad had all the equipment he needed at home and provided unwavering support to us as a family during an incredibly difficult time.

We cannot thank them enough for the care, compassion and dignity they gave Dad. In his memory, we kindly ask that donations are made to the hospice in place of flowers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thinking of you Alison, Matthew, Hannah Rich and family at this time.
Though it’s been a while since we last seen you. We do have some fond memories of Phil and the gang back in the day on the sidelines watching our boys play football in all kinds of weather. Good times.
Sending our love and condolences.
Andrea and Dave (Nevitt) xx
