On 17th December 2025, in hospital, of Earlsheaton, Dewsbury, aged 79 years, Dot, much loved wife of the late John, dearly loved mum of James and Jonathan, very dear mother-in-law of Michelle and Sarah and cherished grandma of Shauna, Charlie, Harry, Oliver and Tia.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Thursday 8th January 2026 at 12:30pm. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of Alzheimer’s Society.

I am so sad to hear of Dot's passing.
Dot was a devoted Cub Scout mum to James and Jonathan at 20th Dewsbury Scout Group.
Dot was a helper too and we can all remember our camps at Hesley Wood - we laughed from dawn to dusk and the cubs did too.
I'll never forget our helpers, Dot included, as they prepared tea, they
strained the cabbage through the crockery drainer cos we'd forgotten to pack the colander! What fun we had.
Oh happy happy memories of Dot, a Cub Scout Super Mum!
