Big John was a gentle giant, whom I met, with Sue,along with so many of our mutual friends. We watched many of the games & we enjoyed seeing their family grow up,as our two did.Once they moved we saw less of them, but we always did enjoy the times our paths crossed.
I thought that they were a well matched couple, very happy together in spite of the different personalities and, now, I wish we had kept in touch when we moved to Petersfield, to be close to our two two and our grandchildren. John was so loveable and larger than life, but at heart a kind and generous person, who could be relied on at all times. He stays in our memories of the Good Days.
