In loving memory of Peter Thurkle who sadly passed away on 11th December 2025. Dearly beloved and adored husband of Mandy.
Born in Bermondsey to Charles Edward and Doreen Helen Thurkle
Peter was the oldest of 5 siblings.

Peter was an amazing man. He told many stories of his time in the Royal Marines and of his youth. He always had us laughing. He was a rascal!
Peter worked on Tower Bridge for 36 years, when he retired in 2015.
A service will be held at Falconwood Crematorium on Monday the 5th January at 2pm.
Then to The Bear And Ragged Staff pub in Crayford where we would like you to join us to celebrate the life of Pete.
A great man with a big character.

Such a sad loss, my thoughts are with you Mandy and the Family. I have numerous fond memories of Pete, but our Cornwall camping trips always spring to mind with many a night under the stars, putting the world to rights with several whiskies.
