In loving memory of Graham Owen Jones who sadly passed away on 6th December 2025. Much loved by family and friends, Graham lived in Southend for most of his life. He worked as a Solicitor in Westcliff for nearly 50 years but will also be remembered as a member of Shoebury Cricket Club. He was a member of Leigh Road Baptist Church where he particularly enjoyed singing in the music group and Christmas choir. A Thanksgiving Service will be held on Friday 9th January 2026 at 11am at Leigh Road Baptist Church. All are welcome.

With fond memories over years of friendship with Graham. Both enjoying our love of fast and classic cars and visiting tracks and events. Grahams faithfulness as a member of Leigh Road Baptist Church was evident in his ministry of taking elderly members to church each Sunday, stewarding, singing in the choir, playing a huge part in the setting up and administration of the church care home Kingston House and helping both the church and many Christian clients over many years with legal work and estate management. You will be sorely missed and your innings was well conducted and a high score!

In memory of Graham. A kind, generous and gentle man. Having worked for Graham for almost 20 years I have witnessed on many occasions when Graham has gone the extra mile for his clients borne out of his deep Christian faith.

It has been a privilege to have known Graham and enjoyed spending time in his company. We have consoled each other many times reflecting on yet another defeat of the Welsh rugby team and working hard trying hard to get to grips with the base line as part of the church choir in readiness for the Christmas carol services. In a world of change Graham always seemed to be rock steady. Our love goes out to Rosemary and the family.
