It is with great sadness, that we inform you that our wonderful Mum, Pamela (who most of you knew as Pam), passed away on 10 November 2025.

We have set up this online obituary for Mum, which includes her funeral details and an area where you can pay your respects to her. You can also share fond memories and photographs, if you feel you would like the opportunity to do so.

Because Mum was a very optomistic person and loved colour, please feel free to come dressed in bright colours.

Although Mum loved flowers, we have decided to only have floral tributes from her family.

We have chosen Maggie's Centre, Nottingham, as the charity for donations in her memory. We thought this was appropriate as it was the charity Mum chose to support for her 90th birthday. You can either donate online using the link at the top of the page, or you can donate on the day.

Please could use the 'attendance tab' to let us know if you are able to attend her funeral. We would love to see you there and use the occasion to truly celebrate her life.

There will be refreshments afterwards, details of which will be announced later.

With many thanks,

John and Peter

Saying goodbye to my dear Pam, my close friend I saw every Thursday at 2pm for 10 years. The most wonderfully kind and thoughtful lady, one that you could talk to anything about with no judgment but the most best advice. The one that I’m so thankful for helping me build my confidence in my work from young and believed in me. The one I walked to with my wellies and a sledge with my hairdressing kit in when she was snowed in to do her hair at home. My first and always my favourite lady.
Think of you always every Thursday xxxxx
Sending all my love and condolences to Peter , John and family xxxxx

Gill has fondest memories of Pam at County Hall. Always the voice of common sense and calm, loved by all that worked with her. Rob also remembers her husband Mick, who worked at County Hall and sadly died far too young. Sending our sincere condolences to all the family.
