There are so many aspects of my friend of many years,Glen ,that it would take too long to list. We shared many hours ,days and trips over the years. He was always the first to offer help, assistance and advice during bad times and was a great and knowledgeable companion. We have lost a great ‘mate’, and counsellor.

. I am sad to not be able to attend today but he will be in our minds. Rest well Boyo.

I have such fond memories of my dear brother Glen, he was always kind and loving towards his little sister. He had an amazing memory much like our Dad, and his sense of humour was always at the ready. He and Maureen had travelled to many parts of the world and birdwatching was a lifelong interest. But apart from his family, his biggest love was singing for the best part of 80 years. So it's goodnight and God Bless Glen, miss you so much, and thank you for being my Big Bruv. Georgia xxx💝

Glen has always been more than a cousin to me - more like an uncle. He and Maureen have welcomed me so often and been ultra generous in their time and love. I will always treasure my memories of those lovely big bear hugs.

A man who inspired my love of swimming and all things coastal/seaside related.

Always a smile and a story to tell.

Pleasure and a privilege to call
you my Uncle.

Sleep tight Glen and rest in peace
