Thomas Lionel 'Tom' Fisher (21 Oct 1950 - 10 Nov 2025)

In loving memory of Tom Fisher who sadly passed away on 10th November 2025.

Tom was a passionate supporter of The Air Ambulance and also Attenborough Nature Reserve (a place we enjoyed many dog walks combined with bird and wildlife watching). You can donate via this link or by cash on the day of Tom's funeral.

Tom battled Mesothelioma (a lung cancer caused by asbestos exposure) for 3 years. He never complained or felt sorry for himself. He endured his treatment (immunotherapy and chemotherapy) with admirable stoicism. He continued to enjoy his cars and still managed numerous trips with friends and fellow enthusiasts, even managing to complete the "10 Countries" last year and visited the Le Mans Classic in July this year. He also collected art pottery for many years, mainly Torquay and West Hallam. Another hobby that brought him many lifelong friends.

Tom would not want us all to be sad. His funeral will be a celebration of a life well lived.
