In loving memory of Bill Hewett who sadly passed away on 24th November 2025.

We are heartbroken to share that we lost our beloved Dad on 24th November. He truly was one in a million - the best Dad anyone could ever wish for - and we feel so lucky that he was ours.

He worked tirelessly throughout his life for us. He made sure we never went without. We find ourselves lost without our rock. Dad faced his illness with incredible courage right to the very end, and we were by his side, holding his hand every step of the way. One of his final words to us was that he felt “united” and that will stay with us forever.

He was loved, admired and respected by so many and his absence leaves an immeasurable hole in our hearts.

We love you Dad and miss you more than words can say x

Love you all the world and back again x x x

We would like to thank you all for the incredible support over these past months, and especially over the last few weeks.

Our mums husband and our dad’s end of life came so quickly, and none of us were ready (we never could have been). He put up such a fight and didn’t want to leave us. What truly helped us through was seeing the love, strength, and support shown by our friends and family. We didn’t know which way to turn at times, but we pulled together and did our very best to make sure he always had one of us by his side.

Yesterday’s send-off was just perfect — full of love, hugs, kindness, shared stories, laughter, and tears. Some were even dancing into the early hours (which Dad would have absolutely loved).

Thank you all so much for the cards, messages, beautiful flowers, and charity donations. It meant the world to us. It was so lovely to see everyone who could make it to Dad’s send-off, and we were deeply touched by the messages from those who couldn’t be there.
With all our love,
Ericka, Lisa, Kerrie and Claire

Rest in peace, our dearest Bill
We had so many good times together. Fishing at the caravan, where I slipped into the lake, not once, but twice! All you could call me was... a***hole!

On holiday in Spain. Because of how I was dressed, you wouldn't walk with me, only El would. Eileen and you walked behind us and all the locals were looking at me. What they were saying we don't know.
Then the time we went out with the boys all day... El and Eileen were not happy with us two. When we went out to dinner that night, the girls put us on Slush Puppies all night. They even held onto the money so we couldn't buy a drink!

We always had a little banter about Arsenal and Chelsea... shall we call it a draw now son.

Friends for over 50 years
Rest in peace
Our love as always
Eileen and Ken 💙
