In loving memory of Phil Gibson who sadly passed away on 26th November 2025.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and memories of Phil and the very kind donations to Heart of Kent Hospice. Phil was diagnosed with cancer at the end of September and passed away peacefully at home. It was thanks to the incredible support and palliative care that Phil received from the Hospice that meant he could remain at home so your donations are going to an extremely good cause.

Details of the Funeral Service and Funeral Reception are shown below.

We are deeply saddened by Phil's passing. A true Gentleman, friend and mentor. It has been our privilege and pleasure to work with Phil and to learn from him. His enthusiasm, knowledge, humour and support will be much missed. Our sincere condolences to his family, who he spoke of often with great love and pride. RIP Phil. The Reco-Air Team

Phil was a wonderful neighbour for two decades. He provided friendship, support, wise words and a level head. Phil was always there when you needed him (even allowing me into his tool shed on occasion to borrow a tool from his cataloged collection!). The Eyre family will all miss you Phil. - Mark, Jo, Sam & Holly

It was an absolute pleasure to have known Phil. He was the Visiting Officer to our Old Owen's Chapter No.4440 and subsequently became a joining member. He was incredibly supportive to the Chapter and its members. £100 donation previously made and a further £383 here from the Companions of the Chapter. He will be missed.

Phils command of a room by just being present, highlights the high regards i and everyone he met held Phil in. His warmth as a human and his dry humour will never be forgotten, i cant thank him enough for his kindness and support. Rest in Peace Phil.

What an inspiration you were Phil. You were both interesting (as an Industry expert) and interested (in what others had to say). Taken far too soon. RIP my friend. It was a pleasure to have known you and worked with you. No doubt you will light up those heavenly skies …. and keep them well ventilated as well 🙏😂
With much love to Christine, Kelly and the rest of your family Graham x

Phil’s spirit of generosity is what I will remember most, he demonstrated it with me on many occasions, and I have no doubt countless of others too. Some of his stories will continue to reach new audiences. He was a real inspiration as the master of his chosen subject. My sincere condolences to his family.
