In loving memory of Neville John Wakefield who sadly passed away on 19th November 2025.
Neville was born on the 24-11-1937 and lived most of his life in Staffordshire the county he was born in. He was in the Merchant Navy for 10 years after leaving Technical college in Dudley.
Many of his other jobs included working for Sketchley's, North Country Breweries, E.J. Riley and National windscreens.
Four sons followed after marriage in the early 60's to Maureen Geraghty. Grandchildren numbered eight with a great grandchild on the way!

Thanks so much to everyone who attended our beloved father’s funeral. In particular, the ladies and gentlemen from the Navy Club who gave dad such a wonderful send off, we appreciate it so much!

I will miss our chats Uncle Nev, you’ll be pleased to know I managed to walk the 60 miles for cancer research this last month with Dukie (Staffy)for you and my mum raising funds to stop this horrible disease. I would say rest in peace but to be truthful I can see you now annoying your brother!
