It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Nettleship, who died peacefully at home at the age of 81. After many years living with cancer, Stuart’s courageous spirit never wavered, and though the illness eventually took its toll, it never dimmed his remarkable wit or the humour he carried with him to the very end.
Stuart was a man defined by kindness, resilience, and a deep love for his family. He faced every challenge with quiet strength and met every day—good or difficult—with the same gentle smile that so many will remember.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, his beloved children, and cherished grandchildren, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life. His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the wisdom he shared, and the enduring love he gave so freely.
Stuart will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in peace.
