Eve Fogarty donated £50 in memory of Ray

Ray was one of my dearest friends, as he was to my late husband Mick. Ray and Mick not only worked together from their teenage years at the Kursal but remained the closest of friends throughout their lives. We shared so many wonderful holidays together and created memories I will treasure forever. Ray will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in all who knew him. I’ve no doubt that he and Mick are together again, getting up to mischief and sharing plenty of laughs with their old friends.

We both remember Ray as a lovely man he always wore a smile and had a tale to tell. We both worked with him once he’d retired , for Jenn , he helped professionally clean a care home ready for clients; and for Bob, on occasion he worked alongside him providing building support. Our thoughts are with his loving family, our condolences go to them at this sad time . May you rest in peace Ray …
