Richard Howe (5 Aug 1936 - 10 Nov 2025)

For our dear brother in law Richard, thank you for helping us so much when my mum needed assistance living on her own, I shall miss you especially at Christmas, such happy memories of us all eating Christmas dinner together when Tricia was still with us.
Sixty years is a long time to know someone, we shall miss you so much. Judy and Frank xxxxxxx

I only ever knew Richard as a lawn bowler. He had amazing skill, and if that didn’t work, he knew how to get into your head. No matter how annoying losing to him again and again and again, he always did it with a smile. A lovely man. I will miss learning from a master of his sport.

Rest in peace Dick, thank you for your support and kindness when we were young loud musicians rehearsing in your kitchen, and for so many years continuing to help us. Hope you find some good trad jazz in the sky, and play a game of cricket and bowls. Good night Dick, live Tarn & Tan xx

RIchard, we shall miss your infallible judgement as to which bowls were nearest the jack and will be sure, from time to time, to honour your memory on a Wednesday afternoon by using your extremely thorough method of shuffling the cards!
