One of my favourite memories ever is seeing Richard carefully make his way through the crowd at Sarah’s wedding to hold her in his arms for the father & daughter dance. True love & beaming pride. I just watched and cried. Sending all of my love to you all. X x x

Like most I've been devastated to hear the that we have lost Richard.
I first met Richard when we both in our early 20s.We were both young, slim with full heads of hair (no grey). I remember our first day working together in a Shipstones pub cellar in Nottingham and I will always be grateful for the help that Richard gave me that day.
This was the first day of an amazing working friendship.
As Richard progressed in his career he always supported and helped me with my business. More importantly than the help that he gave me as a colleague he became a great friend. The hours we spent together travelling the country for work were always fun. Richard always enjoyed telling me how well his family were doing, Jill with her career and then her business, James and Sarah at school, growing up and their career's.
Richard was incredibly proud of his family.
I will remember a great friend and family man.

Although I went to the same school as Rich, he was 3 years older, my brother Phil was in the same year and was a good friend. I got to know Rich when he started working at LEEC and there we realised a connection from the past. I got on really well with Rich as did most folk, a great bloke who will be sadly missed.

I can only reiterate all the lovely comments about Rich, always a cheery smile and what a super fella to work with for 30+ yrs. What a tragedy to be taken so suddenly and before he got to enjoy retirement. RIP Rich, you are surely missed by many.
