In loving memory of June Hughes who sadly passed away on 15th November 2025 in her home.
A church funeral service will take place at St Martin’s Church, Bremhill on Friday 5th December 2025 at 1pm.
Following the service, there will be a wake at The Dumb Post, which everyone is invited to attend, for as long as they wish to. The bar will be open, refreshments will be available, and a light buffet served at 3pm. The venue is happy for attendees to bring homemade cake or sweet bits/desserts if they’d like to.
Following the funeral, June’s wishes are to be cremated and this will be attended to by Odette upon completion of the funeral. Once June’s ashes have been returned, an internment service will be held at St Martins Church, Bremhill and this will be followed by a 'celebration of her life' gathering at the village hall and we will ask all willing to help provide food for this later celebration. This date will be confirmed in due course.
We would like to ask people to wear colours of their choice to the funeral service. This tribute, donation page is for us to share some of our memories, confirm attendance to the funeral, and remember June. Funds are being raised for Cats Protection. June was very fond of all her cats and everyone else's' cats.
June will be taken to the Church in a hearse accompanied by Odette and we ask everyone to make their own way to the church. There is also parking at The Dumb Post and we are looking into other parking arrangements.
