My Mum and Gina’s Mum were good friends. Katie as they all knew her by work in their Groceries shop in Lowdham. My Mum became Godmother to both Judy and Gina and has been an inspiration to Gina for many years. At 94 and disabled Gina visited Katie many times for tea and chats and of course lots of laughter, Mum could always make her laugh. My brother John and I (Julie) visited many times and I used to get to do my homework with her which was great as Gina was 4 1/2 years older than me and was a great help, so you see the teacher was already in her! We will all miss her very much.

In loving memory of Georgina Margot Brindley, "Gina", "G", "Granny G", who sadly passed away on 5th November 2025.
Gina's funeral service will be held at Mansfield Crematorium in the Thoresby Chapel on Tuesday 25th November 2025 at 12:15pm.
Mourners are to wear something comfortable and colourful, and Scottish Country Dancers to wear their kilts please.
Donations in lieu of flowers for Cancer Research UK and the John Eastwood Hospice Trust are welcome.
After the service, all are welcome for light refreshments at The Little John Inn, 177 Main Rd, Ravenshead, Nottingham NG15 9GS
