In loving memory of Edward James Nairn Stupple who sadly passed away on Monday 27th October 2025, aged 49 years.

Beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. The world is quieter without Ed’s laugh and less colourful without his stories. But the love he shared and the curiosity he modelled live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.

Though we feel the weight of his absence, we also carry the joy of having known him.

Please join us at Markeaton Crematorium for 11am followed by a celebration of Ed's life at The Grange, 457 Burton Road, DE23 6XX. Dress code - whatever you are comfortable in. No flowers please.

We will be putting together a slide deck of photos - please do send a couple over if you can so we can collate - it would be lovely to see photos of Ed from across the years - aims.stupple@gmail.com

I am deeply sorry for your loss of Ed.

Ed was one of the first teachers and adults to show me compassion and patience. Always with wisdom and humour. Without his kindness, support and guidance, I never would have graduated from university. I am forever indebted to him for the lessons and values he taught me along the way. You will be deeply missed Ed. Ill do my best to carry forward your example and share it with others.

I will miss his warm welcome, smile and hug whenever I came to visit and the gift treats of real cherry brandy liquors at Christmas. I will miss him being my son-in-law …a kind tender hearted man stoic and brave in the face of adversity.
