In loving memory of Pieter 'Kees' Rieborn who sadly passed away on 14th October 2025 peacefully in his sleep after lunch, so we know he was happy!
He was diagnosed with dementia during Covid so has had a difficult last couple of years. A remembrance service will be held at Sutton Crematorium at 2.30pm on Thursday 13th November 2025 followed by light refreshments at The Globe Inn, Lower Gungate, Tamworth afterwards for those that would like to share their memories of Dad.
For those unable to attend please contact either myself or the funeral directors for a live video link for the service.
May he now rest in peace. ♥️

Lief oompje,

Rest is what you have now. We will miss you. We are glad that we saw each other often over the past few years. Especially last year, before your health deteriorated rapidly and you were still able to recognize us. Rest in peace, and we will think of you every time we eat herring.

Rest in peace ❤️

Lots of love Lisette, Rogier, Max and Britt

Kees, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on earth was one marked by compassion, his friendship and his ability to crash every taxi he owned. When most turned a shoulder he had a heart of forgiveness. Kees had a profound impact on my life. My condolences to the family, Jon & Von, sleep tight my friend. Xx
