Sending my condolences and thinking of Steve and their families at this awful time. I have so many lovely memories of Mick from working for him at the Anchor. He brought so many laughs and to this day I can’t listen to the Sound of Music or Sister Act without thinking of our mandated singing sessions after a Friday and Saturday night shift. Mick had so many friends and will be so missed xxx

Thank you Mick for giving me my first job, teaching me so much along the way! You bought a smile to many people’s faces and taught me how to handle banter in the real world! I had many wonderful years working at the anchor! I hope you rest easy. Thinking of Steve and all your family sending my love your way. I will try and get to the funeral but with two little ones and living 3 hours away it might be a challenge, but I will try best and think of you all if I can’t make it.

Rest in peace Mick. He made the best Sunday roasts! Grateful to him for giving both my kids their first jobs, which was genuinely a game changer for one as his confidence soared and he met his partner working at the pub. He'll be sorely missed.
