Lionel, a true gentleman, kind, caring, witty and loving. A loving husband to Ann, father to Janet and David, grandfather to Samantha Adam James and Ben and I had the pleasure of once being my father in law. Now reunited with Ann. Rest in peace you will be missed by all. Lots of love Jo xxx

Lionel, my brother in law. A man who would and a man who could, make do and mend until the end.
As a child he taught me right from wrong, made me smart and made me strong.
Life's not the same without his friendly taunting, his rapid wit and his whistling .. so haunting.
