In loving memory of Fiona Jayne Cambridge who sadly passed away on 24th September 2025.

To have Fiona in your life was a true gift. She was driven, devoted and dedicated in extraordinary ways. A dedicated work colleague, a true friend and a beautiful daughter, sister and wife.

Fiona lived life to the full and had so much love to give, qualities that made it a privilege and an honour to have her in your life. She could light up the room, she could light up your life and she lit up the world in every way.
She was loved so deeply and will be missed so deeply.

Fiona had such a positive impact on those she came into contact with. I was lucky enough to work with her for over 5 years, and overtime came to consider her a great friend. She was a light in the dark with her compassion, humour and positivity that leave memories in your heart for a lifetime.

It is always hard to accept when you lose someone whose very existence had an impact on yourself and so many others..
This can be said of Fiona.

Fiona was a tireless advocate for equity and inclusion particularly for those whose voices were often quieter than others. She was an inclusion champion, an Allie but most importantly a caring friend.

Her kindness and compassion was unwavering and as a result she was trusted and respected at all levels of city Care and beyond.

I will miss her dry sense of humour, her support, and her quiet understanding.. She helped shape our inclusivity agenda and without doubt, her legacy will live on xx

We met as colleagues in the late 80's but quickly developed a friendship that would last. We could talk for hours, we were the last to leave when we met for a pub tea, the staff putting tables on chairs around us. We knew each other through so many changes in our lives. You were witty, observant, clever, supportive, courageous. I'll miss you, but I will always hear your voice.
