In loving memory of Brenda Joy Boast who sadly passed away on 26th September 2025
Since suffering another stroke in January and spending two months in hospital, Mum went home with 24/7 live-in carers. She was looked after very well and had regular visits from her neighbours. However the biggest hurdle for Mum was coming to terms with not being able to do anything for herself any more.
Taken into hospital on 19th September with fluid on the lungs and heart failure saw her deteriorate rapidly and she will be missed by many.
At 92 years of age, you’ve had a very good life. RIP dear Mum.

I have lovely memories of our visits to Auntie Brenda’s over the years in Mendham. She always made us so welcome and was such a kind, lovely lady, who will be missed dearly.x

Feeling very sad but blessed to have had this wonderful lady as our auntie. We have such lovely memories of times spent with Brenda as a child in Mendham. Always a warm welcome not to mention all the home baked cakes and rusks.. We are both so happy that we got to see and spend a little time with you in July.. Much loved and will be missed, Mendham will not be the same anymore! 💔

I only knew Brenda for the last third of her life, she was a wonderful independent lady and always made me welcome. Thank goodness she got the best of care at the end of her journey of life. RIP Brenda

It has been my good fortune to live nextdoor to Brenda for 65 years. I shall miss her more than I can say. I pray that she will rest in peace and rise in glory.
