Rich was taken from us far too soon, at just 40 years old, leaving behind a life overflowing with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. To know Rich was to feel his warmth, his patience, and his wonderful sense of humour.

Together we shared twelve wonderful years, eight of them as husband and wife, filled with adventures near and far. Every moment was brighter with Rich by my side. He found joy in so many things: his family, our beloved dogs, comedy nights, cars, cheering on Derby FC with his mum and dad, our famous cheese boards, and most of all, the simple pleasure of being with the people he loved.

Above all, Rich will be remembered for his kindness. He had a rare ability to see the best in others and to offer patience, grace, and love without condition. Though his journey was too short, his legacy is one of laughter, gentleness, and joy - an example to us all.

Richard was a kind, intelligent, caring and loving man. There wasn't a bad bone in his body. I will miss our chats about music, cars, dogs and football (even though he was a Derby fan). Taken far too soon. It was an honour to call you my son in law. RIP Richard.

I worked with Richard for 10 years . I still can’t believe he has gone, taken far too soon. Loved hearing the stories of him and Rachael travelling ,especially his new love of cruising. Richard had a lot of time and patience for everyone ,nothing was too much trouble and he would always know the answer to that question I had.
So greatly missed by us all. RIP Richard

Still lost for words! It’s all empty without you. You were my go to person to discuss cars I always valued your opinion and I was always so excited to see what you got next! Remember when I started and you had brought that Merc SLK and I remember my car being parked opp the office and I sat in your car without you saying you it was ok to do so and asked you to drop me 2 seconds down the road just so I could sit in a SLK. Or the countless times we were in the kitchen discussing what shocking things our fur babies got up to- those funny moments- I miss you! One of the most caring people I have ever met. Rest in paradise Rich as you deserve nothing less!

Richard was amazing kind, funny and full of knowledge. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. I'll always remember him laughing about the man who sometimes thought he was a horse. He had an amazing laugh that was so contagious. Taken too soon. My condolences to the whole family.

Rich was the kindest, most intelligent and thoughtful man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Although we were colleagues, I've always classed Rich as a friend and to say he's missed by all of us is an understatement. From chatting about everything car related to soaking up Rich's knowledge of everything & anything, I'll never forget you. Thoughts with your family and sleep tight.

It really does feel like a light has gone out in the office. Rich was the oracle, the font of all knowledge, the one I knew I could banter about Championship football with, a very calm head in amongst the chaos. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and wanted the best for everyone. He’s irreplaceable.
I still remember the time there was leftover food in the office after a meeting, mainly falafel. Rich’s comment hit the nail on the head “Falafel reminds me of sadness”!! Miss you, Rich x
