In loving memory of Vera Lowe who sadly passed away on 18th September 2025
Mum was born on the 4th October 1944 to her loving parents Margaret & Joseph Johnson. Mum had two Brothers Peter & Barry and they grew up in their happy childhood home on Fearnhead Avenue in Horwich.
Mum met our Dad Allan whom she married on the 9th October 1965. Mum & Dad went on to have my Brother Stuart and then me, some 4 years later. She was the best Mum to us always kind, gentle and loving.
Mum worked very hard for 40+ years at Regent Park Golf, where she was well known and respected by all who met her. Her Bacon Butty's were world famous.
Mum was an amazing Nan to her Grandchildren Nathaniel, Joseph, Olivia and Chloe and they will cherish their time with her forever.
We are going to miss Mum terribly and we only wish we could have had her with us for longer, but sadly it wasn't to be. Mum will never be forgotten, only missed, she's now just sending her love from afar.

Our heartfelt condolences to you and all your family. Vera was a beautiful woman inside and out and always made me feel welcome in your house growing up as a child. Loved helping out at the golf course as she had a great knack of making sure we did the right thing but also being able to have a laugh too. That's a skill not many people have. You were very lucky to have such an amazing mum and she will be remembered as such.
Big hugs to all of you and so sorry I can't be with you to celebrate her life xxx
