This page has been set up in loving memory of my Dad, Barry Patching who sadly passed away on 4th September 2025, aged 63 years.
For those who knew my Dad, you will appreciate that he was a hard worker, massive on music, and a huge fan of West Ham and Chatham Town FC. Sadly on the day he died, we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye.
I would like to thank friends, family and colleagues who have been there to offer their support to my mum and I and for their kindness in what has been a very difficult time for the family.
Donations in Barry's memory would be gratefully received for the 'British Heart Foundation' and may be made online via the link on this page. We have chosen this charity as it was identified via his cause of death that he had a pulmonary embolism and an enlarged heart.
His funeral is on Friday 10th October at the Medway crematorium at 2pm followed by a wake at Chatham town FC bar from 3.15pm. Only family flowers on the day, so if you was intending on buying flowers - please donate the money to this charity instead so we can support this charities amazing work to prevent this happening to other families.
