In Loving Memory of Malc Long
1949 – 2025

Malc Long passed away peacefully at home on September 5th, 2025, aged 76, surrounded by the love of his family and carers. After a courageous journey, he is now free from pain and suffering, reunited with his beloved mum and those who went before him — sitting proudly at the big table once more.

Malc leaves behind his devoted wife Jan, his cherished daughter Ceri, and his much-loved stepchildren Noel and Justin. He was a proud grandfather to Jess, Josh, Wayne, Becca, Shannon, Long, JJ, and Charlie, and was blessed to welcome ten great-grandchildren into his life — each one a source of joy and pride. He also leaves his two beloved younger sisters Heather and Rose.

A man of warmth, humour, and quiet strength, Malc touched the lives of all who knew him. His presence brought comfort, his stories brought laughter, and his love brought light. He will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by family, friends, and all whose lives he enriched.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Forever loved. Never forgotten.
