In loving memory of Robert James Shergold, known as “Bob”, who sadly passed away on 13 August 2025, barely 11 weeks after losing his wife, Margaret.
Dad was “simply the best” and he fought a long hard battle with numerous health issues, including cancer and Alzheimer’s. Dad always enjoyed sports, particularly football, cricket and golf and was a keen artist. He was very sociable and enjoyed having a laugh, telling shaggy dog stories and being the karaoke king. He loved his music, right up to the end, especially the Rat Pack, Louis Armstrong and Nat King Cole to name a few.
Mum & Dad had just celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on 19 March this year and sadly this was their last afternoon together.
After the funeral, the family would like you to help them celebrate and share happy memories of his life by attending a wake being held at The Concorde Club in Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh from 1400.
