William Frederick Maddison (5 Feb 1941 - 18 Aug 2025)

In loving memory of William Frederick Maddison (‘Bill’) who sadly passed away on 18th August 2025 at the age of 84.

Bill leaves behind his wife, Lin, two daughters, Nadine and Lisa, son-in-law Nick and two granddaughters, Amy and Gemma, as well as a lifetime of friends accumulated along the way.

A keen sportsman throughout his life, Bill excelled at football, table-tennis and golf, a sport he only took up at the age of 40 and managed to achieve a single figure handicap, and in his later years, turned to bowls to keep himself active.

Bill adored his family, and they him. Always quick with a smile, a wink or a perfectly timed funny comment, Bill gave us all reason to smile and cherish every moment we had with him.

Bill struggled with his health in later years but was pretty pleased with himself to have surpassed the ‘three score years and ten’ which was his benchmark.

Loved forever xxxxxx

Please feel free to join us at Barham crematorium on Wednesday 17th September at 1pm to celebrate Bill’s life, and afterwards at the Harley Suite in Bluebirds, Snargate Street, Dover.
