In loving memory of Gary Wheatley who sadly passed away on 15th August 2025, aged 54 years.

Mercifully, Gary died peacefully. He fought a brutally short but courageous fight against cancer, during which time Gary remained strong in spirit, playful in humour, and dignified to the end, supported throughout by his loving family and close friends.

In the short time from his cancer diagnosis to his passing, the sole focus of every conversation was how much he loved his family and friends, and how grateful he was to have built so many wonderful memories with us all. Time spent with those who mattered most to him, and doing the things that he wanted to do with them, built the loving relationships and head full of memories that he treasured to the end.

Gary led a relatively simple, yet fulfilling life. He was one of the few who knew what 'to have enough' was.

Gary's kind, warm nature, mischievous sense of humour, and deep love for those who mattered will never be forgotten.
