In Loving Memory of Ernest Michael “Mike” Roberts
6th July 1950 – 8th August 2025
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Ernest Michael (Mike) Roberts, who died peacefully at his home in Devizes on 8th August 2025, aged 75.
Mike was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, remembered for his straightforward nature and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. A simple man at heart, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service to honour Mike’s life will take place at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, on Monday 1st September 2025 at 1:00pm. All are warmly welcome to attend.
Following the service, a wake will be held at the Conservative Club, Devizes, where friends and family can come together to share memories and celebrate his life.
Donations in memory of Mike are invited for the RNLI, a cause close to the family’s heart.

Mike was just a great bloke, once said sorry to me because he had classic gold playing in his car when it was HE that was giving me a lift to the hospital! I shall miss our spoof buddy as will we all.

I first meet Mike at the the age of Five at our first day of school and we progressed through our education together and completed the Ten tours challenge in secondary school. I caught up with him about six months ago and we had a great chat about our teenage years safe journey matey. Dave Woodley
