29th September 2025

A little update to everyone to acknowledge and say thank you for all the direct donations as Sarah has mentioned towards the nominated charity Alzheimers UK. I would also like to acknowledge and say thank you to those who bought car boot/ yard sale items from me as well as donations - to confirm I raised £105, and as promised I have passed this directly to Kerry at Overseal Care home to spend on her staff as she sees fit.
( As promised, i need to mention Anne Cheaney, Dominique & Charlie, Eve & Ray, Mr & Mrs Siddles & M O'Brien - thank you )

11th September 2025.

Dear All,

Thank you so much for attending and supporting myself and the family at mums funeral. The attendance was overwhelming and I hope we did mum proud xxx

We cannot thank enough the great care that TJ Parrys took of mum, and the family, as well as Rev D Arnold and the Church wardens at St Marys for their empathy and time to facilitate our requests and wishes.
Carol

30th August.
To all,
Those wishing to attend mums farewell on Monday , and who are travelling by car, the Community Centre Car Park on Elms Road will be open from 10am, which is where the wake will be held.
Please use this facility as parking is very tight at the top of Church Street. Those with mobility issues can be dropped off outside St Mary’s Church.
It’s been a very difficult time as you would expect, and the family welcomes those who wish to celebrate mums life.

Ann was the loveliest kindest friend anyone could have - in the whole wide - and I feel so lucky to have enjoyed so many happy years of friendship and fun with her. I shall miss her dearly.

  • Ann & her Cousin Barbara. Aunty Barbara told me, they were more like sisters than cousins
