Sr Christina McCann (The Sisters of St. Joseph of Lyon, Moseley and Haunton) born Drumherriff, Co Cavan to parents Anna Maria and John J McCann, passed away peacefully in the love and care of her congregation, family and the staff at The Hawthorns, Aldridge aged 90 years. Beloved and admired sister and sister-in-law of Mary (Wales), Anita and John Pat (Hull), Oliver and Audrey (Wicklow) and predeceased by sisters Rita (Peter), Dympna (Seamus, Gowna) and brothers James (Maura, Dublin) and Joe (Cavan) and brother in law Edwin (Wales).
Kind and supportive Auntie Chris to her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, whom she loved. Inspiring, fun loving and adventurous friend to many students, friends and colleagues, there was always a party! With grateful thanks for a life well lived and to the full.
Sr Christina will be greatly missed by her community, family and friends. God Bless you Christina.

Funeral Mass to celebrate Christina’s life on the 13th August 2025 at 10.30am at St. Mary of the Angels Church, Aldridge and burial at St Michael's & St James's Catholic Churchyard, Haunton, England.
