Ron seemed most at home in greenhouse or allotment and loved growing and providing for family and friends. I loved ‘talking gardening’ with him and he was so easy to be with, sharing all he knew about when and what to grow. He didn’t expect a lot from life but was so rich in the love within his family life. Now at rest after a life lived well and bravely.

Ron was a large part of my early life and I have such fond memories of those hay making evenings along with a picnic tea sat on the bales. A lovely gentle man who gave me time with such patience. Rest in peace Ronnie x
