Portland College was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mohan Khera, a Governor of Portland College from 2005 to 2017, earlier in July.

Charity CEO Dr Mark Dale writes, “I doubt that anyone who knew Mohan personally didn’t like him. He radiated warmth and kindness and always offered his friendship. He spent a lot of time and energy looking for ways to bring people together in all his professional, charitable and personal endeavours.

“Portland College was lucky to have his support over many years along with the New Arts Exchange and the Nottinghamshire Council for Racial Equality among other organisations.

“We all remember a loving, humble family man and our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.”
