In loving memory of Maggie Drury who sadly passed away at home on 28th June 2025, aged 80 years old. Her loved ones were by her side.

Maggie was a vibrant character who didn’t mince her words, which often came with a few profanities attached. She would say swearing gave her words more emphasis 🤣 Those who were fortunate to have known her would know she would help anybody who needed it, unless they took advantage. She wasn’t a push over by any means and didn’t suffer fools lightly.
She loved music and used to be a DJ in pubs around Nottingham where she was born and spent the rest of her life.

We will be celebrating her life after the funeral at :The Sherwin Arms Derby Rd, Bramcote, Nottingham NG9 3JN

All welcome. Thanks Tess .

God bless you maggie. You were a good friend of my mum and dad, Doreen and Peter Purcell. You told me you knew them before they got married. I used to see you dj in the pub when I was in my 20’s not knowing how long you were friends with my parents. I hope your flying high and spinning your tunes party hard and reunited with all those past before you. Love to tess and all your family and friends who wil be heartbroken. Fly high for eternity xx
