We are saddened to share the news that Carole Hignett passed away peacefully on 17th June 2025, after a short illness.

A funeral service to honour Carole’s life will be held at: St Andrew’s Church, Kegworth, on Friday 11th July at 1.00pm. Following the service, a private committal will take place for family members only.

You are warmly invited to join us afterwards at The Priest House Hotel, Kings Mills, Castle Donington, DE74 2RR , where we will celebrate Carole’s life together.

Carole had a love of colour – especially in her clothes – so please don’t feel obliged to wear black.

The family would like to request that no flowers are sent for Carole. Please consider a donation to one of our chosen charities:

The Hospice of St Francis, Berkhamsted, Cancer Research or St Andrew’s Church, Kegworth. Details of how to do this will be provided on the day.
