In loving memory of Walter Raymond (Ray) Ashman who sadly passed away on 22nd June 2025
Ray was a much loved father, grandfather and great grandfather. At the centre was Mavis, his late wife, and Ray’s life together were their 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Ray was born and bred in Dover and lived in the town his entire life. He was proud to have served in the RAF and was stationed overseas in Japan at the end of WW2. Later he worked for many years as a bus driver for the East Kent Road Car Company.
