Great memories of singing with Tony blasting out his great favourite 'The Flood' and of course the Christmas concert in 'drag' backing Elivis! Tony was a larger than life character who was always willing to have a laugh. We'll miss him.

So sad ti hear of Tony’s passing. Remember happy daybtrips out with the family and Tony would always have a song or funny joke to tell. He always called me Emerald and could make me laugh when i didn’t feel that great as a teenager. Thinking of you all x

I will miss Tony’s singing, his sense of humour and most of all his camaraderie. He was a valued member of South Notts Men’s Chorus, and we will all miss him terribly.

Two pints Tony was always very entertaining. From singing in drag at Christmas to being good company in the pub after choir.

We will all miss his entertaining presence.

Tonys quizes during lockdown we’re legends-‘a murder of cows!’
Dressing up as a backing group to ‘Elvis’ was another of his fun ideas
A smashing bloke with a great sense of humour
Will be greatly missed

Who in SNMC can forget “Dad’s” Tommy Cooperesque bingo-calling during our lockdown Zoom sessions, when he used his ropey tombola machine. He kept dropping the balls before he had a chance to call the numbers out! I don’t think that we ever finished a game! Gorffwys mewn heddwch, Tony x

Tony loved his golf and here at Rockcliffe Hall golf break with his golfing buddies and the prizes he won.He was a regular and much-loved part of our Away Days, Weekend Breaks, and Ryder Cup events over the past 18 years. His warmth, good humour, and friendship meant a great deal to me personally, and to many others. He’ll be deeply missed.
