Passed peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loved ones on the 18th June 2025 aged 75 years.
Philip recently of West Bretton Wakefield, formerly of Chickenley, Dewsbury, will always be remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dearly loved and respected, son of the late Charles and Lilian Hutchinson, Husband to Christine, Father to Adrian, Diane, Clare & Tracy. Grandfather to Rebecca, Joshua, Olivia, Owen, Isabelle & Isaac. Great Grandfather to Harriet, Heidi, Alfie & Harrison. Brother to Pat, Joyce, the late Anthony, Jeanette, Linda, Val, Mary, Colin, Carol, Susan, Paul, Sharon, Beverley & Michelle. Uncle & great uncle to a large tribe of nieces and nephews. It will never be a goodbye just a see you later, rest easy now you great man.
His funeral will take place at Dewsbury Crematorium on Saturday 5th July 2025 at 10am. Followed by refreshments at the Shoulder Of Mutton in Gawthorpe. We ask for family flowers only donations can be made in lieu to The Yorkshire Cancer Research Fund, based at St James’ Hospital, Leeds.

The man, the myth, the legend! My hero! Thank you for all the wonderful times, the places we visited, the constant love and support and all the memories we shared that I can and will hold dearly forever. You truly were one of a kind! See you later Dad xx
