In loving memory of Jaimee Simpson who sadly passed away on 12th June 2025 following a short illness.

Jaimee came into the world on 10th May 1977, completing John & Susan Simpson's family of four girls; joining Yvonne, Jennifer & Amanda.

Jaimee went to school at Annesley Primary & Ashfield Comprehensive, going onto to study Social Work at Bristol University. She remained in Bristol working as a key worker supporting vulnerable people in the community, until she moved back to Nottingham to be closer to her family & support her mum.

Over the last 7 years Jaimee put her caring nature into supporting those in need of help as an Advisor at the Citizens Advice Bureau

To say Jaimee was the adored baby of the family is an understatement. She was the closest daughter to her mum; she was her rock through the sad years of dad’s dementia & Parkinson’s and following his death in 2015 and she was her best friend.

Jaimee was the most loving cat owner. She leaves behind her beloved Mr Tybalt (Mr Tybs).

Her laughter was infectious and her sense of humour infamous, along with the occasional grumpiness 😊.

Jaimee was a special daughter, wonderful sister & amazing aunt to Thomas & Charlotte and great aunt to Evi & Arlo.

She will be missed by all who shared a part of her life.

Jaimee’s funeral & celebration of her life will be held on Friday 11th July at 1pm, Mansfield & District Crematorium, Derby Road, Mansfield, NG18 5BJ.

After at Il Rosso, 180 Nottingham Road, Mansfield, NG18 4AF.

Please let us know if you’ll be attending by clicking on the Attend the Funeral button.

We would ask that flowers are limited to immediate family only. However, if you would like to make a donation, please could you do so via Graham Ward funeral directors. All donations will be given to Hogarth Ward, City Hospital, Nottingham; a ward specific to cancer treatment. They took the greatest care of Jaimee, mum and us girls with respect, kindness & compassion, allowing Mr Tybs to visit & say goodbye.

I didn't know Jaimee that well, spent a fun few days at a festival with her and others, then a smattering of random gigs and occasions over the years. She seemed a happy soul that will be sorely missed, but will also live on through memories and our stories of her.

I worked with Jaimee through out her time with Citizens Advice and had the privilege to watch her grow and become a wonderful, kind and compassionate member of our team. I had recently helped to train her to take over my role, and had expected her to become a successful member of the management team in our Ashfield office. Sadly this was not meant to be. I will miss her wonderful sense of humour which often lightened up our team meetings. the patience and dedication she showed when assisting our volunteers with training, building their confidence to reach their goal to become advisers. We will all miss her here. My deepest condolences to all her friends, family and Mr Tybs

Jaimee will be so very much missed by everyone who she helped and supported at Citizens Advice. As a volunteer I found Jaimee to be amazingly supportive, kind, helpful and encouraging to me when she helped mentor me and I saw firsthand how brilliant she was with our clients. She was such a very kind person who really made a difference to those around her and her community and will certainly be very much missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends.

I am sorry I will not be able to attend her funeral but send my deepest condolences to her family.
