In loving memory of Pauline Webley who sadly passed away on 27th May 2025

Pauline, born to loving parents Harry and Mary East, and older sister to Anthony, lived in Alum Rock, Birmingham before moving to Washood Heath, then moved to Tamworth to start her own family.

She married Harold Webley on the 4th March 1972. They have two children, James and Tim and four grandsons (there are a lot of boys in our family!).

A devoted Christian, Ward End church was a huge part of her life, having attended since childhood with her family and friends. Friends that she had through her entire life.

She joined Tamworth Elim Church after the closure of Ward End where she immediately felt welcomed. As a consequence of new friendships she also joined many groups, including the Dementia Choir, Elim Life Group and with a lifelong passion for singing she was very proud to become a member of Tamworth Ladies Choir.

She could laugh at herself and had a great sense of humour. She loved her friends and family dearly.

She will be deeply missed by all. A very special lady, mother and nannie.

Pauline was such a wonderful lady, I will miss our chats every 5/6 weeks when doing her hair. May she rest in peace ❤️

Pauline’s journey’s just begun

Don’t think of Pauline as gone away
Her journeys just begun
Life holds so many facets
This Earth is only one
Just think of Pauline as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days and years
Think how she must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
And think of Pauline as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
For she was loved so much

In loving memory of our dear friend Pauline
Love from Colin, Teresa, The Pavey’s and the Savage’s

Thank you to everyone who attended the funeral of our lovely mum, and to everyone who donated and sent and shared kind messages. Thank you to Elim Church congregation and life group for the amazing spread of food after.

Your generosity means we have now raised over a Thousand pounds for st Giles Hospice.

She was truly blessed to be part of a wonderful friendship circle, church congregation and the many groups she was a member of.

Love Tim Webley , James Webley and Tony East
